HookWith a crook of a finger and a crooked smile  you fished my heart out from its tranquil sea. Oh, how easily I was gulled into believing you, into leaving my familiar waters.


This post was written in response to the Trifecta Writing Challenge  weekend prompt:

Write a 33-word response using the name of an animal as a verb.
